Happy Saturday! Are you up to/reading anything good this weekend?
•
I started listening to the audiobook for Perfect on Paper by Sophie Gonzalez and it’s such a cute story so far with so much great rep!! I’m excited to listen to more of it tonight and tomorrow! I’m also reading a collection of short stories by Leo Tolstoy, which I’m not very far into, but enjoying nonetheless!

Happy Wednesday! How’s your week going so far? ( Happy Wednesday! How’s your week going so far? (Life, reading or otherwise!)

I had my official last day of high school today!! It feels unbelievable to know that I won’t be there anymore and that I’m going off to college! It’s a fairly bittersweet notion, but I’m excited for what’s to come nonetheless.
•
In terms of reading, I read True Letters From a Fictional Life yesterday and it was amazing!! It was fast-paced and cute, but was also packed with emotions! There was a little bit that I wish the book delved deeper into (I feel like a lot was left unsaid between certain scenes so it didn’t always make complete sense), but for the most part I liked it a lot!

Did you like your last read? The other day I finished Rosencratz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard and I liked it. It was pretty humorous but it wasn’t anything exceptional and there were a few scenes that felt like they dragged on a bit, but overall it was pretty good.

In other news, tomorrow is my high school graduation and I honestly can’t believe it! It still hasn’t hit me that I’m finishing high school yet, but nevertheless I’m excited! Hope you have a lovely evening!

Hello! What are you currently reading? • Today I Hello! What are you currently reading?
•
Today I started The Binding by Bridget Collins and I’m liking it a lot so far. I haven’t read a fantasy in such a long time, so I’m still getting used to everything, but it’s making me very excited to read more from that genre.
•
This book follows a young man named Emmett who is summoned to work as a book binder. In this world, books are peoples memories that they wanted to forget. Once the book is bound, the memory is removed from the person and stored inside the book, so while some people appreciate the art of book binding, most see it as witchcraft and evil and try to burn the books. However, if the book is burned, then the memory will return to the person unwillingly.

I really love the idea of fantasies that surround books and libraries (like Strange the Dreamer)! They feel so enchanting and whimsical! I have a few more like this on my tbr, and this novel is just making me more excited to read them.
