• October Wrap Up and November TBR

Happy November! I hope you had a good October! Last month I read 11 books, and I’m hoping to hit 100 by the end of the year (I’m at 89 right now!). Before we get into the books, I also wanted to mention that I started watching Dark on Netflix, it’s like a German Stranger Things, and it’s really good, so if you’re looking for something to watch, I’d definitely recommend it! Now, let’s get into my reading wrap up. Reading Stats Books Read: Eleven Pages Read: 2,772 (roughly 252 pages per book) Longest Book: Wuthering Heights (464 pages) Shortest Book: The Metamorphosis (202 pages according to Goodreads, but I’m…

  • Required Reading for School

I recently saw Alexis from The Reading Addict do a post (which you can find here) discussing some books they had to read in school and if they enjoyed them or not. I really liked the idea behind this, so I thought it would be fun to share some of my required reading and some thoughts on them. What I Liked Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult Travels With Charley by John Steinbeck Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper…

  • July Wrap Up and August TBR

In the past, I’ve never done any monthly wrap ups or TBRs (To Be Read) and instead have done a general post on all the books I read in the year, and while I’m still planning to do that, I thought doing these monthly ones would be fun too. So, in July I read eleven books. I also started another (Crime and Punishment) but put it down. The beginning was intriguing but I haven’t felt compelled to continue, though I may pick it up again in the future. Anyways, here are all the books I read this past month. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton I gave this 3.5/5 stars, I…
